William P. Lazarus

AUTHOR ~ WRITER

You have reached the website of one of the most versatile authors in print or electronic media. You may never have heard of me, but I ghost write for individuals and publishers around the world, and I have worked as an author, newspaper reporter, magazine editor and a content provider for the World Wide Web.  I’m also a religious historian with 14 books on that topic, including Wiley Publishing's famous Comparative Religion for Dummies.

On this site, you’ll find everything from novels to love poems, essays, Power Point presentations, magazine articles and short stories.  From fiction to non-fiction, humor to serious, you’ll discover something worth reading.

Most of it is free and available to the public.

A graduate of Kent State University, I now teach communication classes at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach.  I’ve also taught at Cuyahoga Community College (Ohio), Yale University, the University of New Haven (Conn.) and Daytona State College, among other places.  Most of the educational tools and teachers aids were developed for the classroom.  I also taught high school in Florida, so I know the information works for young students, too.  There’s even a game I created, called Choices, which is designed to help children learn to make good decisions.   It’s free, too.

If you want to read my published books, you can order The Sands of Time, which covers 100 years of racing history in Daytona – from the Sand Fests in Ormond Beach and the speed racers trying to become the fastest men on Earth to the beginnings of NASCAR and today’s multi-million dollar extravaganzas.  It comes with a free CD.  There’s also CQI in the Classroom, which presents an array of teaching tools in a new approach to education.

There are only a couple of other books for sale: The Unauthorized Biography of Nostradamus, a rollicking novel that  follows the famed seer through riotous adventures; and Noel: The History and Tradition Behind Christmas Carols, which explains how many of the world’s most-famous carols were written and what exactly the holiday songs are about.

Other books will become available in time.  You’ll just have to keep checking back to this site.

I look forward to sharing a lifetime of writing with you.
